Nutmeg loves to go for walks. She's not terribly keen on having her harness put on, but once I open the door, she forgets all about it. She could walk for hours, if I let her. She doesn't like the heat, so we haven't walked much over the summer, but it is finally starting to get cooler. I took this quick video last week of her dragging me around the yard: Here's a video of Nutmeg walking in the snow for the first time last winter:

Nutmeg Vs. the Bubble Bath

I decided to take a bubble bath. I usually lock the cats out for a little peace, but I didn't realize Nutmeg was sitting in the window watching the birds. She wandered in and was very confused by this strange white stuff and why I was subjecting myself to sitting in water. I wish I could have gotten more video, but she mostly wanted to sit behind me so I could protect her. She even tried to climb over my shoulder to investigate the bubbles.

Nutmeg Destroys My Halloween Costume

I bought some lovely deer antlers from Walmart for my Halloween costume. I saw another pair that had flowers, but they were made for a small child, so I thought I might DIY these in a similar way. I put the bag down next to my office to remind myself to carry them into the craft table. The antlers cost me about $7 to make. I forgot Nutmeg likes to investigate all items in any container within her reach. She seemed to favor the fuzzy ears and tail. Maybe I'll go buy Nutmeg her own pair. Or maybe a big stuffed dog toy! Here's the finished antlers!
