Nutmeg loves to go for walks. She's not terribly keen on having her harness put on, but once I open the door, she forgets all about it. She could walk for hours, if I let her. She doesn't like the heat, so we haven't walked much over the summer, but it is finally starting to get cooler. I took this quick video last week of her dragging me around the yard: Here's a video of Nutmeg walking in the snow for the first time last winter:

Nutmeg Vs. the Bubble Bath

I decided to take a bubble bath. I usually lock the cats out for a little peace, but I didn't realize Nutmeg was sitting in the window watching the birds. She wandered in and was very confused by this strange white stuff and why I was subjecting myself to sitting in water. I wish I could have gotten more video, but she mostly wanted to sit behind me so I could protect her. She even tried to climb over my shoulder to investigate the bubbles.

Maggie the Lion

Maggie has loved to wear clothes since she was a kitten. I've never had another cat who got clothes like she did. When I put them on her, she goes to the door, because people put on clothes to go outside. She does associate clothing with wearing her harness to go for walks, but she doesn't just walk around. She looks for a neighbor so she can show off her outfit. She also loves Halloween. I used to put her in a costume and a harness and let her help me answer the door to trick-or-treaters. She absolutely adores children, and the noisier and more excited they were, the more she loved them. Maggie is 18 now, so I don't put costumes on her often anymore.
